OTP began in 1963 in Columbus, Ohio as an industrial supply distributor of mechanical power transmission equipment and pumps. From the very beginning, our company leaders stressed the importance of hiring and developing the best quality employees, treating them right and coupling their talents with a wide range of products from top manufacturers.

In recent years, our business strategy has been extended to include mergers and acquisitions with other companies who share our core values.

2017 — PK Controls, Inc. (founded 1996)
A leading engineering and services company, PK Controls specializes in factory automation and controls to the automotive, material handling, OEM, machine manufacturing, process control and private-label markets. Backed by extensive knowledge of their customers’ quality, workmanship, safety and design standards, PK Controls’ highly trained engineers and technicians become the single source of responsibility during every step of an automation project. Located in Plain City, Ohio.

2017 — Tri-Power MPT, Inc. (founded 1954)
A premier industrial distributor of automation, electrical, power transmission, motion control and safety products, Tri-Power MPT is one of the principal independent distributors for many of the core product lines that it represents. Tri-Power MPT maintains a diverse customer base in a variety of industries, including food processing, automotive, Amish manufacturing, glass, medical, packaging, plastics, stamping, steel, tire and rubber. Location in Akron, Ohio

2017 — Argo International LLC (founded 1952)
A premier industrial distributor of pumps, parts, monitoring and control systems and related accessories, Argo International also provides application engineering for a variety of projects and diverse markets, including the food and beverage, oil and gas, chemical, building and construction, marine, and pharmaceutical industries. Location in Somerset, N.J.

2016—C & C Industrial Sales, LLC (founded 1977)
A premier distributor of finishing equipment, C & C Industrial Sales (CCIS) specializes in offering top-of-the-line brands of spray finishing systems and fluid handling equipment as well as the installation, service and repair of finishing equipment. Locations in Gallatin, Tenn., and Raleigh, N.C.

2016—Midway Industrial Supply (founded in 1955) & Contrast Equipment (founded in 1923)
With decades of experience serving a wide range of industries, Midway Industrial Supply and Contrast Equipment specialize in supplying industrial companies with spray finishing systems and fluid handling equipment as well as sealant and adhesive application systems. Both locations have local warehouse, parts department and complete repair capability. The Kansas City location of Contrast Equipment also has a complete demonstration lab. Locations in St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minn., and Kansas City, Mo.

2016—PumpTek, LLC (founded 1999)
With years of experience providing expert solutions for magnetic drive, or seal-less, pumps, PumpTek helps improve customers’ plant safety, pump reliability and bottom lines. Service markets are located in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Missouri.

2015—Buckeye Pumps (founded 1983)
A turn-key contractor offering engineered process systems and pump solutions for the industrial and municipal markets. Repair centers are in Galion, Ohio, and Cincinnati, Ohio.

2014—Ohlheiser Corporation (founded 1960)
Technical distributor of pneumatic, vacuum, robotic and industrial automation products headquartered in Newington, Connecticut. Services markets in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and eastern New York.

2014—Advanced Industrial Products, Inc. (founded 1978)
An industrial automation, robotics and MRO component supplier and engineering support and programming provider with locations in Lexington, Kentucky, Knoxville, Tennessee, Ona, West Virginia and Tupelo Mississippi.

2013—Industrial Process Equipment Group (founded 1947)
Pump distributer and service/repair center headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with branch locations in Decatur, Illinois and Calvert City, Kentucky.

2010 — Nu-Con Automation (founded 1977)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Battle Creek Michigan, primarily serving southern and central Michigan.

2010 — Ohio Transmission & Pump (founded 1963)
The company name was changed to OTP Industrial Solutions to better reflect our technical capabilities supporting a broad range of products, serving customers in multiple states.

2010 — Midwest Fluid Power (founded 1956)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Toledo Ohio, primarily serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

2005 — Nimmo Fluid Power (founded 1983)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio, primarily serving southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.

2005 — WR Shields Inc (founded 1983)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Cleveland Ohio, primarily serving northern Ohio.

2003 — Hydro-Power Inc (founded 1969)
Pump and repair supplier headquartered in Terre Haute Indiana, with branch locations in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, primarily serving Indiana and Illinois.

1998 — Prime Pump (founded 1980)
Pump and repair supplier headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio, with branch locations in Indianapolis and Louisville, primarily serving Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
